Richard Deal presented the new Greeves 280cc Ti trials machine prototype to the public on the Saturday morning of the Telford Classic show in January 2009.

Richard continued to develop the bike in 2009 and made changes before introducing the production version.

Dutch Open Trial at Europort Holland April 2010. Greeves attended a Dutch Open Trial at Europoort in Holland on April 25th 2010. The sections were difficult to say the least with loose sand, concrete, cable drums and other large obstacles. Soft tyres were required for this event so IRC rear tyres were fitted to the Greeves 280cc Ti Trials bike. We gained a second place trophy in this trial - the first win for Greeves in thirty-four years as a factory team! It was also the first trial that Greeves has taken part in on the new trials bike.

May 2010

MAY 2010 ~ Demo Weekend. Location nr Graz, Austria. In the month of May Greeves travelled to Graz in Austria where our distributor is located. Here we attended a demonstration weekend with the new bike. The demo
weekend was attended by over one hundred trials enthusiasts who had the chance to try the new Greeves trials bike for themselves. We received some very encouraging and positive feedback from this weekend.

OTHER NEWS: The new 280cc Ti Greeves is now ready for production. We have orders for twenty-four bikes at present. These will be shipped to customers in the UK and USA and also Holland and Austria where our distributors are based. We are speaking with other prospective distributors located in Spain, Italy,
Switzerland, Germany and France. We are currently working on a 125cc engine which we hope to have ready for testing in around five months time.

CLOTHING: A range of trials wear will be available shortly. This includes gloves to compliment the trials suits; trousers, shirts, helmets and boots. Jackets, caps and paddock jackets will follow.

September 2010

Greeves 280cc Ti Trials bike launch at Sammy Miller Museum, New Milton, Hampshire - 15th September 2010.
The launch of the Greeves 280cc Ti Trials bike went extremely well with Phil Disney, a rider from Yorkshire demonstrating the bikes over hamster cages and 4-wheel drive vehicles.
Around seventy people attended the launch day in New Milton, Hampshire and agreed that the professionalism at which the bike was prepared and how it performed was outstanding.
We have since received further orders for the bike as a result of the launch day - crank cases and parts to build the bikes are now in production.
